We are delighted to announce that the MySunrise Cancer Companion has won the Delivering Innovation Into Health And Care Award at the recent Medilink Southwest Awards 2023, sponsored by the West of England Academic Health Science Network.
The event recognised med-tech innovation in the South West and was held at the M Shed in Bristol.
The award was collected by MySunrise Directors Dr George Brighton and Dr Alastair Buick, and George had this to say about the win:
'This is a really fantastic win for our team and we are thrilled to get this recognition in the South West. The AHSN network and our local SWAHSN have been a great support to the development of our platform and so especially pleased to have received this from Dr Cheryl Scott from WEAHSN. We look forward to further developing MySunrise and supporting Cancer Patients in the West of England'.
The event welcomed guests from across the South West to celebrate medical technology innovation across the region. It included a keynote speech from Dr Andrew Appleton, Clinical Digital Lead & Chief Clinical Information Officer, NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
